Sea bass is a common name for a variety of different species of marine fish. Many fish species of various families have been called sea bass. It is also a great low-fat source of protein, and a good source of selenium; which is a powerful antioxidant. Its firm white flesh and mild, delicate flavour are always popular. Sea bass is best enjoyed grilled, pan-fried, steamed, or poached. Pan-searing it before oven-cooking is also very effective
